My name is Mrs. Jenny Roberts, and I am the 4K and Early Childhood Special Education teacher for Hustisford School District. This is my sixth year here at JHE and I'm very excited to begin this next school year! I have 23 years of experience working with preschool/4K-aged children. I live in Clyman with my husband and two children. We spend quite a bit of time outside enjoying each season's various activities. My educational philosophy is based on respecting the dignity, worth, and uniqueness of each individual child and that all children deserve an individualized, high-quality education. I feel that education is a life-long process and that as an early educator, I’m helping to lay those foundational building blocks of learning. In my early childhood classroom, I provide social-emotional and academic fundamentals to all my students through play-based learning. I feel that education should bring people together to learn how to work with each other to accomplish goals and how to treat each other with kindness and respect. Families are their child’s first teachers and help with important brain-building from the beginning. I strive to create trusting and open relationships with families so that we have a mutually respectful foundation to ensure open communication from home to school.
