This course will build on the topics discussed in Algebra II including real numbers, equations and inequalities, polynomials, rational functions, and radicals as well as logarithmic and exponential functions. Students will learn skills that will help them bridge the gaps between just learning mathematical procedures and using them in everyday situations with practical exercises. College Algebra is designed for the senior that took Algebra II and is planning on attending a technical college, two year college, or 4 year college upon graduation.
Students will have to opportunity to earn college credits by taking College Algebra through Moraine Park Technical College that will transfer to a variety of different post-secondary institutions. For more information, please contact Mr. Haan!
