It is my 23rd year as a kindergarten teacher. This is my sixth year at JHE. Previously I have worked at the Dodgeland School District as well as Edgerton School District. My husband Bruce is a math teacher at the high school. We live in Juneau.
I look forward a wonderful year. I cannot wait to share my love of reading with my students! Along with reading; your child will learn about phonics, phonemic awareness, writing, math, social studies, and science. Your child will also have physical education, art, music, and library.
In the spring we will be a part of a postcard exchange in order to learn about the United States. We will get to learn all about one another during our VIP (Very Important Pirate) days in September and Fabulous Friend weeks beginning in January. We will have a special class pet, Lewie the Lion. He will travel home with each student so s/he can have fun together!
Our class motto is Do Your Best! Be Your Best! I look forward to our year together.
